You’ll be fine as long as you have a job lined up. Live uptown and live the dream for a little while. You’ll just have to wait till mid 2021 but otherwise you’ll be fine

Is it worth it? Family lives in Texas, but, I want to live the party lifestyle for a few years after I graduate. Seems like it would be a lot more fun than Austin, Dallas, or Houston

If you can’t party in your mid 20s in Houston, Austin or Dallas than you are autistic

I can’t explain it. I just really don’t like Houston.

If you're a responsible person NOLA isn't for you. IMO.

It's fun. But, can't get ripped until 2 AM on work nights.

Just go to Houston etc and live in area with bars etc. This GS in other cities are more geared towards people with real jobs.

What does this even mean? No one here forces you to go out.

It’s a real adrenaline rush when a gun is pointed at your head, so I’ve heard.

High cost of living, horrible job market, and the Rona is keeping the nightlife to a minimum.

I lived in New Orleans for 5 years after graduating college and had an absolute blast, made some amazing friends and connections in that city. Once I started growing the family the money and opportunity in Texas drew me away. I had a FOMO all the time about missing out on the Texas economy. However every day I miss living in New Orleans.

I was born and raised in Texas, but nothing here is like living in New Orleans.

2/3 of those pertain to the desirable parts of Houston that aren’t suburbs

My answer is yes. That is why I like it here, and I am 62.
