In the Woodlands? Arent you talking about moving to the areas that dude was sending people bombs in the mail?

The Woodlands itself isn't bad. However, that area isn't all that big and it gets pretty crappy just outside of the Woodlands. I've never lived somewhere with so many shootings and murders within the same proximity to my home. I haven't looked at the numbers, but there is certainly more and it seems closer to home than it ever has been for me.

I live on 4 acres and have an additional 13 acres about two minutes away. You’re spot on. Four is just enough to have room and some privacy, but you can still knock out all your chores ina few hours. Leaves you some weekend time for other things.

Haha. Dude. You moved to the suburbs and trying to compare to Austin.

Yes, Austin is probably better than the Woodlands. Next time a start thread comparing a major US city to a suburb. I’m sure people would agree.

But you probably sat at home for the last few years an hour outside of Houston or had date night at Brick Tavern/Mo’s Irish Pub and bitched about the lack of fun. Meanwhile millions of people are experiencing the museums, arts, restaurants, sports, nightlife that you think only exists in your tiny hipster street corner with your local neighborhood band in Austin.

And what Katrina refugees are you experiencing in the woodlands? WhT crime are you experiencing in the woodlands?

Face it. You made a bad decision and trying to shite on the people that have figured it out. Stop trying to convince the OT and start figureing out how to explain to your family you fricked up

Bring you checkbook, land has gotten expensive around here even in Cedar Park and Liberty Hill.

I've lived in Round Rock for 12 years. If your willing to pay tolls the traffic situation in this area has improved a lot in that time. Sure rush hour still sucks, but any other time of day is smooth sailing all over the Austin Metro.

Big difference between La and Texas is Texas actually builds roads trying to fix things.

Houston is cool. I have a great time there. It would be on my short list of places to live if I had to move. You are a giant douche who either can’t make friends or embrace the current climate/culture in which they are in.

I'm not sure whether I want a wall on the Rio Grande to keep out the Mexicans, or one on the Sabine to keep out the Lousy-annans.
