Slowest horse race in history?
Dude outran a horse. People getting exciting over some pretty pedestrian footage (excuse the pun).
If it wasn't for radios, these slow arse cops wouldn't be able to catch a cold.

The mounted unit was able to ID the perp way before the guy on foot could, and was able to radio back up while in pursuit allowing the foot guy to focus on catching the criminal. Pretty good system IMO.

New York does.
Baton Rouge even has some that are used at special events where there are big crowds.
