When that happened, I was just shouting my arse off and she told me to shut the frick up because she was trying to sleep (ie noon). Went out on my balcony did a beer shower and then shotgunned a beer in celebration and then hung out with my friends afterwards celebrating. Greatest comeback in the history of sports bar none.
I’ll never forget in vivid details where I was for the following:
The Helmet Catch
Phelps winning by 1/100th of a second in the Beijing Olympics
Ole Miss winning Omaha
The Kick Six
Wasn’t alive for the Miracle on Ice.
You’ve got to remember where you were on this. I was in my apartment and I woke up at 5:00 in the morning to watch this final round, and my psycho ex was sleeping in. Am I the only person who remembers Carl Lewis? Dude won 9 gold medals in track and field. He's widely considered one of the greatest athletes the world has ever seen, and he's never mentioned.

He had the greatest sports comeback of all time after a back spinal fusion surgery. I don’t care if he’s down by a major or not. Tiger’s contemporaries did not go through the shite he did. Tiger is the greatest golfer who has ever lived.
It’s hard to exaggerate how big of a comeback his 2019 Masters win was, and how smart he played during that tournament. Tiger proved he was the best there, and he never needs to win another major to prove it.
