David the Gnome was the bright spot of daytime nick.in those days. I hated being home sick. After the good before school cartoons ended you had David the Gnome then like 6 hours of bullshite like Mia the Bee, Todays Special and Eurekas Castle.

He never did shite but give speeches.
In the original cartoon he never even fought anyone. Only used his sword to cut trees and smash rocks.
Only disrupted Skeletor's plans, never tried to actually end the threat.

Speed Racer was a punk. Racer X carried him for years. Only reason I watched the show was to catch a glimpse of Trixie.
