I was at the hospital waiting for my mom to get out of open heart surgery when I received an email stating I needed to schedule a meeting with HR to discuss my separation agreement.
This was years ago when we had BlackBerry’s, my company had shut down due to the Bank crisis and 400 of us were let go.

I posted about it on here. When some random Kroger employee emailed me his resignation with a picture of his dong. His manager had the same name as my dad and he somehow got my email.

I work at a pretty large company. Last year, a guy I didn’t know sent an email to a large portion of the company that only said:
“The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts;
he made water flow for them from the rock;
he split the rock and the water gushed out.”
This is from Isaiah 48, but he sent it with zero context, and it wasn’t followed up by any explanation. I’m a Christian and all about the Word, but I quickly looked him up in the directory to make sure we didn’t work in the same building just in case…
