The public swimming pool in Balmorhea is pretty random. It’s built over natural springs and you can rent scuba gear in town.

Juno and it’s suburb of Pandale.

The story goes that Juno was a stagecoach stop where there was a restaurant. People would ask the Mexican cook what’s for lunch, and he would reply: jou know... frijoles. Same thing every day... Juno.

Last recorded population was 3. Nearby Pandale is an uninhabited ghost town.
