So basically this thread states that people who are educated (or live near colleges), live in communities where there is dense populations and entertainment districts are much more liberal than xenophobic, religious, rednecks who are less tolerant of just about anything and who come from more rural locations?
Who would have thought?
The perfect example of Progressive group think right here.

Louisville
I've spent weeks in Louisville, and it feels like a Northern U.S. city to me.

Maybe the old left but not the new left. The new left supports transgenders, gay rights, unlimited immigration, and complete "equality" between men and women. Most blacks don't really support these things. Unless they have been surrounded by white liberals for a while.

I think on economic issues black folks are very progressive, no different than their white counterparts.

If you take away the I75 and 400 burbs and the richest Buckhead streets, then Atlanta has to be in the running. Asheville for sure but it is so much smaller than Atlanta even eliminating Atl conservative burbs.
And the Asheville burbs are pretty conservative.
And people mentioned Athens which is part of the Atlanta metro statistical area.
I assume Nashville is getting more lib.
Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is for sure.

Asheville is Portland, OR level of liberal.
Asheville is a liberal college town full of drum circle hippies. Portland is Antifa central. Not even remotely the same thing.

Asheville?
Yup. I live in Asheville (just South in Arden) and it is a granola shitshow. A nice one though...

Absolutely. In fact, as a general rule, all non whites are pretty socialist. Seemingly, all non British or non Swiss descended people are like this. Who else values freedom?

Pretenders
I miss real hippies. They were good people.

No they weren't.

I dont get this. Asheville might lean left, some of them far left, but it’s certainly not militant liberal by any stretch.
Have you walked around downtown after dark? Listen to talk radio? Mission Hospital banned baby formula in its nursery and started a breast milk bank 15 years ago....it’s liberal

The things some of you consider “liberal” amuse me

Anything I don't believe in = liberal.

If you had worked there at that time you would know what I am talking about. I am not amusing anyone here including you. You ever go to Greenlife before Whole Food bought them?
Posted on 4/5/19 at 12:12 pm to Phideaux
using breast milk instead of formula is now liberal

New Orleans is not liberal. Pastors or Ministers get their marching orders from the DNC and tell their congregations how to vote in exchange for whatever. Congregations blindly vote how they are instructed.
That makes New Orleans a welfare state, not a liberal city.
