Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Delaware, North Dakota, and New Jersey are pretty awful states IMO.

Providence is a big time mob town. I'd say West Virginia, the Dakotas, or one of those Midwestern shite holes. Mississippi is pretty worthless as well.

South Dakota.

West Virginia is actually very beautiful. Drive I-64 through there in the fall and into the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Spectacular!

Alaska.

On top of a lot of other things, it is the only state without a DI athletic program.

Has to be Wyoming (can they even find a second Senator) or Montana (so irrelevant they quit making the sandwich at Arby's)

Or South Dakota. They don't even touch Canada

The areas of Arkansas with mountains are nice, but the flat areas are pretty crappy.

Delaware?

A friend of a friend in college was from Delaware. I asked him one time what was Delaware like?

He paused, then simply described Delaware as being similar to Maryland. I’ve considered Delaware the most irrelevant state since.

I agree WY could get swallowed up into the earth and the news would only be in the cycle for 48hrs.

I did my thesis on this very question.

When accounting for over 70 unique variables, weighting for historical versus modern significance, economics, culture, politics, and 2 years of qualitative polls that covered every state and included over 60,000 respondents, and also factoring in the origin of the individuals on the team, including 2 generations prior to account for bias, and finally, addressing the socioeconomic impact of late 19th century and late 20th century legislation, it wasn't even debatable that the least relevant state in the union was open the door get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. And Alabama.

Idaho

and I like potatoes, but I mean..I never think about going to party in Idaho.

At least those east coast states are in driving or train distance of better places.

The correct answer is West Virginia whose only relevance is because of coal and that is fading fast
