This is ridiculous. I've been to 12 of the top 15 and Nashville is more fun/has more to do than most of those combined. Can't put it ahead of Honolulu simply based on the beauty alone, but there is definitely more to do. Incredible food, pro sports, music hot spot/concerts everywhere you look, great bars, etc.

Atlanta is only skeery to those among of us convinced that their life is in danger sitting in their own living room in rural America. I walked about 30 blocks in the Highlands Friday night and about 20 blocks in Midtown from 7PM until 1 AM and the only thing that was in danger was my banking account. Families and people all over the place. I haven't spent much time in the Highlands in over 20 years but man it is NICE....I really hope those folks suffering from irrational fears stay away and leave it to the rational among us....

Well, Atlanta has a hell of a lot more fun things to do than the entire states of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee combined so perhaps it is a pretty fun town?

Again, spent Friday night roaming the Highlands and Midtown and the number of people from out of town was staggering. They sure seem to flock to Atlanta despite it being a dangerous shithole.

Always have and for good reason...it is fun, relatively safe and affordable. What's not to like, black, white, brown or otherwise???

The entire methodology is shite.

They are counting the number of basketball courts as equal to being on the top beaches list.

They count having lots of bowling alleys as equal to having a setup like Broadway in Nashville.

It’s not worth paying attention to and was probably imagined as a pay for ranking to extort money from local tourism groups.

6 New Orleans, LA 52.49 18 4 129

It's obvious they don't take crime into consideration or they think it's really fun to put yourself in a risky situation.

Park your car for a walk on the famous Fisherman's Wharf, and see if you avoid being broken into or stolen. Fun abounds in those three cities for sure.

Nashville is 1, maybe 2 good days of real fun of music / bars…everything else there is on repeat.

Eta: I said last week Cincinnati is the sleeping giant.

Wait..what. Jacksonville on par with Nashville. We don't even have penis cars to rent for bachelorette parties (or bachelor if that's your style) in Jax.

You won't buy an 8 Ball at the Varsity...you'll be lucky to buy a chili dog and some rings. Damned place doesn't keep regular hours at all since COVID.

You also won't get mugged ON MARTA or inside a MARTA station...in fact it'd be hard to find a more policed presence in the western world. Outside the station? Depending on the station you may find mugging was a friendly encounter with a local....

Did not go that far down the list but yeah, anyone behind Augusta has some work to do. North Augusta and Aiken? Yeah, I can see that. Augusta? Downtown is closed up and shuttered and the rest of town is just strip center chain restaurant heaven. Nice area to live for middle class Americans but fun? I aint buying it...

Out of that top 10, Atlanta is the only one that jumps out as sus. The other 9 all deserve to be there, though I would likely reshuffle the order a little, but I don’t understand how Atlanta is on the same list with NYC, L.A., NOLA, Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Austin, Chicago, Honolulu, etc. It seems to me like Nashville should be in that spot.

Is Augusta supposed to be higher than 126?
Outside of The Masters, what distinguishes Augusta from other cities?
You could drive right down Washington Road and not even realize you're driving right past the Magnolia Lane entrance.

Hell even with The Masters Augusta is not what I would call "fun". Its a good area to live and is great for retirement but it has very little other than what is needed for everyday life going for it...

Other than Fremont Street it is a shopping mall. Who on earth wants to spend any time in a shopping mall???

Nashville does nothing for me. Every bar there is the exact same place with the exact same cover band playing the exact same music.

Plenty bachelorette parties for scenery though.
