The Aiden cut are cut Above the knee...they are a bit more snug around the quad but loose at the waiste to hang off the hips.

I wear nike golf shorts almost exclusively. Also have a pair of jordan plaid shorts that I have had for 10 years now.

Land's End makes a damn fine comfort chino which, when you match it with a good adjustable belt, is good for when you're feeling lean and mean or just knocked out 3 plates on the Chinese buffet.

Apparently their mens workout shorts are unreal as well. One of my golfing buddy wears their khaki shorts for golf and he swears by them.

Plus, you get to go inside Lululemon which is always a treat
