Oklahoma. Except during Turkey season.
Guy I knew from Oklahoma said the only thing to do there was work, gamble, drink, watch football and frick. (He had 5 kids with 3 different women. He is a piece of shite.)

Sounds just like Louisiana. You can add sitting in a tree and shooting at animals to Louisiana.

I would say Delaware, but they got that awesome punch.

Dakota's aren't that bad just brutal winters.
Well if it wasn't for the brutal winters, then all those 'interesting' people would be up there though. It's funny because I'm in Georgia and my dream is to live somewhere a little less 'interesting'.

Lincoln, Nebraska is very nice actually.
Having "lived" in Iowa one summer, and being from Louisiana, lawdy, that was torture. Corn 3x a day, coffee that tastes like plain warm water and those nasily accents.

Kansas really isn't that bad to visit due to the amount of excitement you get when you leave the state and return home. It is overwhelming.

Downstate Illinois is pretty terrible.

Oklahoma. There is a reason why OU fans are such assholes when they’re at playoff/national championship games. On top of watching their team choke again, they have to go back to their shithole meth infested state after the game’s over.
Gotcha. So you prefer the cultcha of Jeanerette, Opelousas, and New Iberia.

Nebraska or Iowa
Very little history made there, not that much topography, not much culture (the old-fashioned definition of the word), mostly boring white folk doing boring white folk things.
(Some boring Indians in Oklahoma doing boring Indian things there too.)
And frick living in Tornado Alley.

Ex 2. Nevada. I had to fly into Reno and drive west for a couple of hours. Jesus... there is NOTHING out there. But Tahoe is gorgeous (and a huge ski/party area) and Vegas.... no explanation needed.
Not to be a prick but if you fly into Reno and drive 2 hours west, you're in California and damn near the bay area. Do you perhaps mean East?

Arkansas is pretty brutal to drive thru

What about like Minnesota? Ive never been there, but id imagine in the winter time the only thing to do is stay inside and try not to freeze your arse off

I loved living a few years north of the Twin Cities. I grew up in the cold, but I think anyone gets acclimated quick to where it’s no big deal. Still get all the summer activities. But get to play ice hockey on the lake, snowmobile, snow fish, ski. It’s a blast
