Isn’t that the same type of behavior all you progressive hipsters have been fighting AGAINST for the last decade? Seems kinda hypocritical to me to be honest

Eh. I don't listen to Wallen. As I've mentioned before, I do like Stapleton, Childers, Sturgill Simpson. And while she's a lot more mainstream, on occasion Kacey Musgraves.
But I also tend to lean more Bluegrass/Alternative like The Avett Brothers, Allison Krauss, Becky Buller, Tune Hash, Kelly Bosworth/Libby Weitnauer versus modern country. Or I'll listen to older country like Cash, Reba, Patty Loveless, Vince Gill, Dolly, etc.
