Hence, the curse of God as laid out in Exodus 22:22-24-26-27

“Don’t mistreat widows or orphans. If you do and they cry out to me, you can be sure I’ll take them most seriously; I’ll show my anger and come raging among you with the sword, and your wives will end up widows and your children orphans.”

What a hideously unpoetic translation

Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless

Agreed but it really is better in original Greek or Hebrew. The money is supposed to go to programs to help poor people, anti drug programs etc. They switched to block grants so they could use for programs that each state liked better.

So far the only state I know of that just flat out stole the money is Mississippi

To be totally Frank, this is tip of the iceberg, hundreds of millions were stolen, from the department, it’s like a Louisiana Hayride. This is just one program

Where was this welfare money supposed to go though?

It was block grant money that was supposed to be used to help the poor.

Even with flexibility I doubt they helped the poor

It wasn’t completely wide open, it had some guidance and guidelines, they just ignored them. i don’t think Nancy’s Mercedes and a 5 million dollar college volleyball court works for that. Lol

They helped themselves, Brett was trying to get millions to some type of scam concession program out of Florida too, which the former Governor was going to get a bunch of stock and kick backs on as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he treated the funds to USM volleyball as a donation and took tax deductions on this money.

Personally I think their punishment should having to drink the Jackson water every day for a year or until it kills them.

Oh the horror....

Welfare dollars paid for a volleyball facility instead of steaks, boiled seafood or booze/cigs.

Tax payers should be rejoicing.

In sum, all these mfers stole at least 50-70 million dollars through a block grant program that was designed to go to poor people, churches that run food shelters etc. They turned it into their private piggy banks, and may I humbly suggest, since I know all of them, before they were shite, including Brett that way way more mfers, other than Nancy Few, and a few wrestlers were involved. Also, way over Brett’s head

May I humbly request, if you don't mind, and if I do say so myself, a breakdown, if you will, of wtf, excuse my language, that sentence, in my opinion, is supposed to be saying, if you don't mind me saying so.
