So ole dummy Brett knew the money was coming via the welfare agency but he had no idea it was welfare money.

I haven't been following closely, but the accusation is he got this money to give speeches but didn't actually do any right? Implying if he did some speeches, while it would look pretty bad he'd be legally OK?
The guy couldn't find 15 minutes here and there to CYA himself over this?
Or is the source of the money a legal issue itself?

Yep. That deal was between him and Ted DiBiase Jr (who stole the money from the state).

I know how this will end. Someone stealing from the govt in the millions of dollaesand you have 10k bail. Plea and have to do 50 hours hours of community service. Steal from a gas station more than 10k and go to federal prison for a year.

The texts that were read on the radio this evening are very clearly indicating that he knew the money was coming from a source that he did not want to be known to the media. He explicitly stated it in his text.
He also knew that he did not show up to do speeches that he was paid to do

He paid back the money for not giving speeches.
Now the problem is they basically laundered federal welfare money through a nonprofit to build a volleyball facility for a team his daughter plays for.

He didn’t do any speeches and the text clearly show he never intended do, (although he gave that money back) it was a rouse to give him money to funnel it to the USM Volleyball stadium.
In sum, all these mfers stole at least 50-70 million dollars through a block grant program that was designed to go to poor people, churches that run food shelters etc. They turned it into their private piggy banks, and may I humbly suggest, since I know all of them, before they were shite, including Brett that way way more mfers, other than Nancy Few, and a few wrestlers were involved. Also, way over Brett’s head
