It is one of the weirdest things in the world. The top ballet competition in the world rotates between Moscow, Paris, Helsinki and Jackson.
The story is that basically this competition was on its last legs financially in the 70s, and a benefactor from Jackson funded it with the stipulation that Jackson be on the rotation.

Many in Jackson are fed up on the antics of neighboring law enforcement agencies. One of the main issues is car chases crossing county lines for minor offenses, and without rankin/Madison alerting JPD about the chase. Jpd will not engage in a high speed chase with you unless you are wanted for murder, kidnapping, or some major felony like that. Madison and rankin will chase you for fricking shoplifting, high speed, on public streets.
While I don't agree with stokes comments about throwing rocks and what not at police officers from neighboring counties, I do see the point he is trying to make about neighboring departments crossing jurisdiction and what not.

I agree 7th. There are obviously problems with neighboring law enforcement, but that doesn't excuse violence as a remedy.
