The difference up to minimum wage only. Either way, money can be made at the right place. I've got girls that make over $50k a year at my place. There isn't anything wrong with clearing up proper tip ettiquette for proper service.

Has it been mentioned that the Walkons in Baton Rouge near LSU is also closed and undergoing renovations this weekend? That's happening without any festival going on nearby. Sounds like it was just scheduled as is

Why should they? This is the weekend that the staffs friends and families are all going to the beach/lakes and grilling out. The locals will not be going downtown do to perception of crowds/traffic. There are no business people in town. No other conventions.

Next weekend there is a huge running of the bulls event and another big convention/seminar of some kind. CBD businesses will be back into the normal schedule, etc.

Most people have a 3 day weekend right now not including people who took yesterday off. A very large portion of your normal clientele has left the city.
