so, you can see the inside coils and there is no ice on them?....if so, it sounds to me like the fan is not running.....

Hopefully it gets repaired soon....had the same problem and boy did it suck. about 2 years ago in the middle of goddamn summer

have you checked all of the breakers?...most have a breaker for the whole unit in the main breaker panel and also either a breaker or a fuse near both the inside and the outside units.....locate all of those breakers and be sure they are not tripped...

Apparently there is a place called Breaux's in BR that does repairs 24/7.

fwiw, it will probably be cheaper to go and buy a 110V window unit or even get a hotel for the night than to call someone out at this time of night...

It sounds like the fan that pushes the air isnt working. Its in the house btw.

You say the unit is humming & clicking, but the unit's fan is not turning? My money is set on the capacitor being shot. If that's the case, it is a sub $100.00 part that takes no more than 10-15 minutes to replace.
