They have a coach pitch world series?

I guess the Montgomery team had the best coach who knows his hitters...

Never heard of it. No way there’s that many teams nationwide.

So, a regional tournament. It's crazy how many "world series" there are that don't include teams from every state or region, much less other countries. What a money grab.

this isnt travel ball

this shite just gets old...these old fricks like the OP find some random article about a rec ball world series and have to run on here and make a thread and make comments about scouts being there

like rec ball world series hasnt been a thing since the 80s

but you know coming to the OT and bashing kids playing sports is all the rage and old boomers want to be included too...so i guess its ok??

im just saying...we dont need a new thread everytime a rec ball org has a world series like its some new thing

About as bad as the girls flag football team that flew halfway across the country multiple times.

A world series from 11 states?

It is a small world after all!

At some point my true competitive nature would come out in crunch time and I'd start looking for the glory. "Let's see if young Banjo can hit the curve, no......slider. That's it!"

Someone would have to remind me that coaches aren't supposed to be setting records in strikeouts against their own team. I'd just ask them if they remembered my sequence for River's last at bat and keep rolling.
