Understandable mistake, but should not have doubled down on it after (and the boyfriend didn't help)

How do you think a pack of dogs in the woods will act? They aren’t going to stay like Fido for long

Understood. I just find it funny how that was her defense. She was on a predator hunt. Why try and justify that the animal was aggressive?

I think she is trying to justify why she thought it actually was a wolf of sorts. If it was wagging it’s tail I don’t think she would have shot it

Not judging the shoot, but she does look a bit husky. And her boyfriend seems like he’s really doggone mad.

They aren't going to spontaneously turn into wolves, either.

The husky looks exactly nothing like a wolf besides the ears and four legs.

The cynical side of me wonders if she shot it thinking it was a wolf, then realized it was a dog, then said frick it, it’s too late and posted the pics in jest, not expecting the backlash that she got

And everything after that has been (shitty) damage control

I’m just saying, there’s NO way her bf was an experienced hunter and didn’t realize her mistake while cleaning the animal and taking/posting pics

He HAD to have known

A pack of dogs in the woods will turn into a pack of killers very quickly

Too many people try to humanize animals

BF talks a big game. Let’s see what happens when a bunch of animal lovers show up at their door.

He may be able to beat up people one on one but a horde of people swarming him won’t end well.

It wasn’t feral, it was a dumped domesticated dog. Ie, friendly. So again, let down by stupid humans…again

Killers? I haven't had a dog yet that wouldn't maul another animal that came too close to the house.

My dog wears a collar to start

If he ever escaped onto someone else’s property in the woods and acted aggressively I would completely understand if he got shot

This isn’t a neighborhood. This is Montana deep in the woods people…..

Caped out? Sprawled across the bed of the truck?

Not those.

That’s a legitimate dumbass taking and posting those not knowing wtf she’s doing.
