Hundreds of hungry monkeys were seen fighting over a single banana in Thailand after coronavirus caused a huge drop in the numbers of tourists who feed them. The primates are normally well fed by tourists in Lopburi, central Thailand, but visitors have plummeted because of the COVID-19 virus which is gripping the world.

The animals were reported to be part of two 'rival gangs' made up of the monkeys who dwell in the city and those from the temple areas who were fighting over food. Footage shows hundreds of monkeys crossing a road and then chasing a single monkey which has got hold of a banana.

There are awesome YouTube videos of those monkey gangs at the temples. They will distract tourists and then steal their shite. Cameras, purses, glasses, hats, etc. The monkeys will then climb a wall/tree/whatever and get just out of reach while dangling the stolen item.

The priests will come and, for a small donation, negotiate with the monkeys and trade food for the stolen items.

It is an unreal look into learned behavior and many parallels (bannable if we really want to discuss them) to modern society.

Just set up a go fund me. The fighting will stop if we can raise enough money to get them all a banana.

Those little frickers better get to work on a vaccine, an antiviral treatment or something if they want the gravy train back.
