We really should just have a stickied thread for the daily BR Interstate fubar. As I've said, many, many full weeks traveling to other much larger cities, and they rarely have the frequency of major, crippling screwups during their morning and afternoon commutes. Why is this??

I believe the #1 differentiator is the single digit IQ of our drivers. Add in a plethora of big rigs, horrible road design, and virtually zero alternative routes to move through and throughout the city and we get this mess. No wonder we are losing every major corporate office we've ever had. And let's not forget to thank Mark Drennan for moving all our gazillion state workers into a single few block stretch downtown instead of leaving them dispersed (where their rent was significantly cheaper). Throw them all on the Interstate at the same time as all the facility and students commuting to LSU...what a great idea! Oh, and let's not forget our favorite drunk, Judge John Parker, who has our poor kids bussing all over creation, and any parent that can afford to pay tuition driving their kids to a private school on the opposite side of town to avoid the aforementioned bussing. Who wouldn't look forward to living here?

What a mess! Glad my friend's flight was at 645am. Had to get off at college and go through the hood to avoid that shite but made it easy.

3 jacked up trucks and 2 tahoes in a pile up. All dirty cars. It's every car that's usually driving like a dick in the morning in one row.

I'm outta here when my daughter goes to college. This place is a dump.
