Behind my master bedroom closet is the plumbing for both bathrooms. I have to keep damprid in there constantly and replace every month or two. Any suggestions on what to do to cut down on the moisture entering the closet from plumbing?

It's probably steam coming through the walls. Moisture doesn't come from piping, unless it's a leak.

No leak. Checked for it. Any ways to cut out the steam?

getting people to use them is another thing. I had to tie mine into the light switch because anyone using my bathroom besides me would never turn the exhaust on.

You are suppose to have a backer in your walls to prevent steam leaching through. Without the backer steam will saturate Sheetrock and insulation.

you have cool air mixing with warm air which is causing the moisture. You need to find out how the air is getting into your wall....you may need to seal off all electrical sockets, light switches, light fixtures.

Do you you have siding or brick outside of you house?
