Why? I have every earthly possession I could ever want, a hot wife, a fat 401k, well adjusted kids, and don't want to live to be a crusty old man. These shallow societal standards are for women, gays and Democrats.

This is based off dating app profiles.
I saw this exact thing on a woman's profile who is a 4 with kids.
She did note her standards are ridiculous, but she will not lower them. Which just means she's staying single.

I think a lot of the whining and complaining we see these days is from the look at me generation wanting everyone to see every little success they have and applaud them for it. When they don't get things their way, they whine and cry about it (see the thread a few weeks ago about millennials and home prices) instead of sucking it up, refusing to make excuses and powering through like past generations did.
But hey, if looking good in spandex is your idea of masculinity, you do you.

Really, really fat. Like, you can tell I am more wealthy than 98% of the people walking the earth fat. Or, you can tell I'm fun at parties fat. Like, you can tell I ain't gay because I don't worry about being fat. Like, fat enough that people wonder what I'm packing when they see my wife fat.
