Oof. Looks like they did back down. I guess they laid off the millennial white woman who wrote that statement for them. And they are now powerless.

They moved it because of pressure. The owners are 80% republicans.

They wouldnt virtue signal for the left.

They do like money though.

You joke but there were media members here *cough, Jeff Schultz, *cough* that were literally screaming that it would be traffic "Armageddon " and a logistical nightmare. Mostly because those media members were in their feelings that the team was.moving north of the city.

When those fears went unrealized, those same media members were nowhere to be found

So you think MLB owners are all libtards that wanted to virtue signal and it was nothing to do with the pressure coca cola and delta, atlanta's largest f500 companies exerted?

The notoriously liberal MLB owners
quote:

Nearly all of the owners of the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, NWSL and WNBA franchises were active political donors in the election cycles since 2020. A minimum of $124,806,435 (94.5%) was designated for candidates or committees with Republican leanings, while at least $5,215,693 (3.9%) went toward Democratic causes, according to Federal Election Commission disclosures and data compiled by the nonprofit OpenSecrets, a nonprofit that tracks campaign finance spending. About 2% of contributions went to bipartisan or unaffiliated recipients.

Im anti people claiming victimhood and crying about everything.

This site is great in that we dont have to hear the libs cry about dumb shite but it seems it just makes the right double down on their crying because its a safe space and 90% will agree with them even if it doesnt make sense. If you wanna circle jerk to how the world is against you juat go to the poli board. Im sure everyone there will agree with you.

Do yall remember when MLB pulled the all-star game from ATL after Georgia cleaned up the voter rolls and put new restrictions on mail ballots a couple years ago?

No, the Braves owner did not agree to move the 2021 All-Star Game. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred made the decision to move the game from Atlanta to Denver due to objections over Georgia's new voting law.

Manfred is legit the worst commissioner of all time. He actively dislikes the sport he’s a commissioner of.

Complete spineless coward. Imagine bending over for the crowd who doesn’t want basic voting laws.

I remember going to the 2000 ASG at the Ted, bought a ticket lower level, first base side about midway between the bag and foul pole, via Ticketmaster for $150.
