Again this should serve as a reminder that elections have consequences.
Get off your arse and vote next time.
I'll do one better: I won't spend a dime in New Orleans again. They refuse to addresss their infrastructure and crime problems but waste money removing historical monuments in the dead of night?

Email the chamber of commerce and let them know that you wont be spending any more money in New Orleans.
New Orleans Chamber
Call businesses that you normally frequent in New Orleans and let them know why you wont be patronizing them any more. Hit them where it hurts.
Mitch has made it clear that he doesn't want white people to visit the city any more. If they prefer non-tipping visitors to the city then let them have it.

I think he said those who do not remember are doomed to eat it.

They aren't going to miss our money. They'll keep getting all the hospitality dollars they need from the Yankee tourists coming down for the Disney New Orleans experience. But it's just for my own peace of mind that I can't personally support such a damn disgrace of a city.
The whole place is going to be under water in 100 years so we have that going for us also.

State over union? What kind of treasonous tPOS was this guy? He tried to destroy my great nation. Screw him and his terrorist army

General Lee was a progressive in his time for his views on slavery and blacks.
Pt Beauregard was so progressive he was seen as ludicrous as he believed blacks and whites should actually live and work together.
Ignorance is no way to go through life strong
That's what's infuriating, the complete ignorance of those wanting to tear them down. They don't even know the same history they claim justifies it.

Hope you are not a server. I foresee a lot of tipping customers being replaced by non-tippers...

NOLA will still make its money by other means.
What you will find out is that the quality of life (what's left of it) will rot away in time due to the lack of concern from its constituency.

I imagine those are in the shredder right about now. I wouldn't be surprised if the contractor was paid in cash.
I doubt the paper trail goes much past the newspaper.

We've spoken about this before. So if the federal government told you to fire upon citizens of Louisiana you would do so? And let's not get into some what if they were terrorist hyperbole. I'm talking about just regular folks.

Please let the establishments that you would normally frequent know why you wont be patronizing them any more.
