I don’t know about Soros but Democratic money is absolutely pouring into local DA races across the country. The result are DAs like this Gardner lady.

The charges are going to get dismissed.
The state AG has already taken over the case and is filing to dismiss all charges.

Why do people keep saying this as if it makes the entire situation ok? The fact that it even got to this point is completely absurd.
Dismissing the charges isn’t good enough. Kim Gardner needs to be disbarred and face charges for violating constitutional rights. She took an oath swearing to uphold the constitution when she took office, correct?

I imagine that as the defendants are lawyers themselves they will be suing the local DA for a lot of money and most likely a complaint with the state bar.

They may have violated the law in Missouri. I read and heard about the Brandishing law, but I don’t know about exceptions or anything like that. So they may be brought up on charges. Probably the highest charge would be something like assault with a deadly weapon, but that’s using the civil definition of assault. It will really depend on the way the laws are written in Missouri.
The biggest problem is that they may get sued in a class action by the protestors for said assault. Not sure how well it would stand up in court though.

The biggest problem is that they may get sued in a class action by the protestors for said assault. Not sure how well it would stand up in court though.
Incorrect. Missouri is a castle doctrine state and you can do as you wish with your firearms on your property, especially if you feel threatened in any way.

And they most definitely should seeing as they are the aggrieved party.
But that’s still not good enough. Why isn’t the state AG taking legal action against Gardner deliberately violating constitutional rights? This isn’t some mistaken case based on faulty evidence, she is deliberately violating multiple state and federal laws.
