It gets worse, the older girl was injured. LINK

quote:

ackson Police said it appeared Erin Brunett was killed after police had tracked him into Mississippi.

"Once he realized law enforcement knew where he was, he tried to do away with the children," Wade said. "Thank God one of them survived and the grandparents are on their way to Jackson, Mississippi."

quote:

Callaghan was driving Brunett's car and a license plate reader in the suburb of Byram, Mississippi, alerted law officers and the U.S. Marshals Service to his general whereabouts.

Travis said someone in Jackson noticed someone pulling on door knobs at homes and went to investigate. The person ran away, and law officers later found him in a car with 6-year-old Jalie Brunett. Erin's body was 30-to-40 feet away in a wooded area. Tangipahoa officials initially said the girl was 4 years old.

I pray to God her father gets the therapy and whatever help he will absolutely need. All that would be on my mind as a male relative would be revenge

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said it wasn't known why Callaghan traveled to Mississippi nor whether the abduction was part of a larger plot.

"We don't know if there are other children in the woods," Wade said. "If this individual has used this location as a location to traffick children and abduct children, we want to make sure we have that evidence to make sure him and whoever else is prosecuted for this heinous, heinous, terrible act."

Pretty sure the guy you are referencing was the kids father, who was not involved.

The murderer was a boyfriend. From what Ive gathered.

Could they set something up where people can pay $100 for a free shot at this guy and the proceeds can go to the little girl?

He better get the death penalty

Two murders we now know he committed have occurred in different states. This one will linger for quite a while, unfortunately.

I swear before God himself if I could get to this guy I would gladly spend the rest of my life in prison to be able to kill him. And not quick like a bullet. I want him to suffer!!

i hear ya. i'm looking at my almost 4 year old daughter right now and cannot fathom how someone hurts them

That baby wouldn't/couldn't stop crying and screaming, so he lost it and shut her up. The older one understood, and went into shock and kept quiet.

I hope Jesus takes me out of this life soon, because I won't be able to just stand by and not go serious rogue.

At some point, the real reason for public punishment will come back with a vengeance, because it is not the punishment of someone who is already a dead and feelingless soul, it's to discourage these kinds of psychos with a cost/benefit scenario that is just too damn painful to act on.

That surviving child deserves the best kind of community love that we can give her. I think she'll get it. Count me in.

Life is hard.

Sounds like the mom's picker was broken. Husband in jail. New boyfriend is a child sex trafficker.

still worser:
quote:

The Jackson police chief said there was evidence of possible human trafficking at the location on Boozier Drive, including small animal cages. Wade said Jackson police have contacted the Human Trafficking Divisions of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) and Hinds County to assess the scene.

quote:

Her sister, 6-year-old Jalie Brunett, was taken to a Jackson hospital for treatment.

Our resident moderates have told us human trafficking is a far right conspiracy theory.
