Missing Girl in Houston (local sports reporter) Update: ***FOUND ALIVE***

Went to high school with this girl. She’s been a reporter for various A&M sites over the past few years, think she currently works for Rivals
I know odds are small that posting this will do anything but I know we have a reasonable Houston crowd on this site and figured it couldn’t hurt to get the word out
ETA Monday am:
@houstonpolice
UPDATE: Our officers have found Ms. Roland in the Galleria area. She appears unharmed. She'll be taken to an area hospital for an evaluation. We are not providing the location where she was found or hospital at this tim

Everything I’ve seen on Twitter says the last thing people know is that she got in an Uber and hasn’t been heard from since.

I wonder how hard it is to contact Uber and get the trip info.

Reading above says she was in her own car.

She was worried that she was being followed...
Damn, and that text was at 12:30 A.M. That doesn't sound good. I hope she was being followed by an old friend and they've been hanging out having a good time... May not be the most likely scenario, but hopefully she's ok.

I’ve seen both stories. But the 7 on 7 team’s tryout she was at said she left in an Uber. I’ve seen a lot of tweets including both.
ETA: Yeah looks like there was contact after tryout so I’d assume she was in her own car now. Hope everyone on Twitter gets that figured out instead of sending out two different stories all over.

Yeah not sure on the details. That fb post in OP is from one of her best friends
2 more hours until it’s been a full 24 hours so I really think of many good outcomes the longer it goes on. As awful as it is, maybe some creep stalker being responsible would be one of the better possibilities? Where she could maybe convince the dude to let her go or something?
She’s very attractive so it wouldn’t surprise me if she had some dudes obsessed with her

Pretty crazy how a ton of national people are retweeting about it. My buddy said Sam Ponder and Dana White have both spread the word
We weren’t close by any means but knew each other well enough to speak if we crossed paths. She’s a really sweet girl

Peter King, Sam Ponder, TAMU orgs, etc.
Sports media families stick together, seen it first hand.

I know the missing persons thing kicks in after 24 hours, but can’t someone track her last cell phone location? At least get started on locating her.

Yeah this becoming a big public thing is really the only encouraging part to hold onto
So incredibly sad that this happens everyday to girls who aren’t very attractive public figures and they aren’t as fortunate to get the same attention (that obviously is a discussion for another time)

Pretty much every sports personality I follow has RT’ed it, including all the Dallas media and some national.
Hopefully something comes out soon.

Guess I worded that badly? Obviously want as many resources used as possible to find Courtney....but it’s not exactly a controversial opinion to say when the average girl goes missing they usually aren’t having their story retweeted by national public figures to millions of followers

Yikes that’s a bizarre text for her mother to get

Wow. Never like to hear something like this happening. I hope things turn out for the best.
