I saw Sharpton on the news this morning and his comments are just what you'd expect:

Well known phenomenon of "Funeralizing".

It's crazy that some cultures put people in the ground before sundown on the day of death and some cultures keep them around as long as possible. This is the latter.

And the mother asked for the service to be without protest so now she doesn't want protests since it's pretty apparent that it was just a very unfortunate accident.

And I'll predict we'll find out that the family private autopsy showed that the young man had too much alcohol and that alcohol led to his death

Is it normal to have a “reverend” who never once met your child to deliver his eulogy? Or for your lawyer to speak at his funeral? Seems odd.
