Not to mention having to deal with insurance headaches from the office visit. I'm on the phone with insurance and will just lose all focus and find I can't really get anything done with it and just hangup.
I bet that just makes you furious

May I recommend trying hookers and blow?

Feel your pain. I've been coming off Effexor for almost a year. You have to do it gradually. If not, it will F you up badly.

CBD oil will help you out a lot. My wife got off her antidepressants with CBD oil.

I just had a flashback to when I was a kid in an old country barbershop surrounded by primarily WWII and Korean War vets. I then imagined op walking in, sitting down, and go to complaining about weaning off his antidepressants, dealing with the flu, and the struggle with his weird sleeping habits. I laughed out loud. The times, they really are a changin'.
And if I were called into a draft, I'd do my duty just like them. I'm glad we don't have those days anymore. It doesn't mean we're anymore cowardly. It just doesn't happen.

Don’t forget having to call the insurance company.

WW2 and Korean Vets
Yeah a lot of those old warriors walked into the woods with a pistol and never walked out too. My Uncle Johnny got shipped back from the Bulge practically catatonic and settled down with a 40 year bottle. No doubt they were harder and Old School . But they had exactly the same struggles. Never minimize a BRO who is struggling. Lift him up. You have no idea what he’s been through.
Op- take care of yourself, man. Shake the haters. I don’t know a thing about antidepressants- just stopping in to wish you well and tell you to hang in there until this current thing is resolved.

Spend 5 minutes in Walmart, it’s the best anti-depressant on the market.
Spend 5 minutes and realize you don’t have it that bad and life could always be worse.

Hang in there, find some inspiring reading on Internet, talk to somebody, force yourself to do something physical each day, do not stay in a rut of doing the same thing and hoping to be better. Change something and start feeling better soon!

Oh man I’m sorry to hear. My father has stage 4 lung cancer and my daughter has cerebral palsy but I’m thankful they didn’t run out of antidepressants

The Fantasy of Ultimate Purpose – How Films, Series and Video Games Reveal What Really Drives Us
You know what is really tough to deal with is boredom. There is nothing to live for in today's modern world. It really is like that scene in fight club being the lost generation of men.
I would think about what you want to accomplish. Write it down and start making a plan. Make a schedule to reach your plan and stick to it.
Additionally look in to stoicism. Emotions are just perspectives. Like one man's trash in one man's treasure. Stoicism will help in strengthening your will.

Go to an AMP for a nice rub and a tug.

The comment was more social commentary than judgement. Where I grew up in very rural Louisiana, publically discussed men's problems could pretty much be narrowed down to "too much or not enough rain for the crops" or "the fish weren't biting today." The thought of discussing weaning off of antidepressants with these hard asses gave me a good laugh. Everyone deals with problems their own way, but I feel like there was kind of an unspoken understanding (in a real poor town in a real poor state) that life was hard for everybody, so why spend any time bemoaning what was the norm for almost everyone there. Good luck to you, op.
