Damn, I just realized you can see an enemy's weakness...unfortunately I haven't been able to look at the stat screen too long while engaged in battle since more than one hit will kill me by this boss. His weakness is stab/fire and I have dice

There are stores (the buildings with a shield or sword) every so often. Each has different items.
As far as recovery items go, I've only seen them appear outside the castle

Never mind...I see it now in Title, and I somehow reset the level I was facing the boss on by hitting "continue"

Has anyone noticed a difference in boss HP as you go up in levels? I just got to Shady and I'm a much lower level than fr33manator and the bosses HP is a lot lower for me. I've never paid close attention but I don't think I've seen an increase as I've leveled up.

im going at it using this setup.
this will work, it may take a min, but i can take two hits from him before i die.

In my first run in with him he one shotted me. My hp is at 6025 and he did about 6125 damage.

I'm using the hose and the mertail. The hose does great damage but I have no recovery with my combo so it's taking forever to get my hp back up. I have him down to about 40% right now.

With Lucifer down you have little time to regroup before you're faced with Luciferx.

I'll find what combo gives me recovery (if possible) and has elements that the boss is weak against. Then I use the thiefswd and vampcape to get close to the boss because that combo adds absorption and then I change my weapon and armor in the last store before a boss.

Description for Bide is "Defeat on the second hit". Obviously, that isn't happening. Does anyone know what that really is doing?
