Me either. But... you had to be under 18 in my day.
:datedself:
OP what parish is this in? EBRSO and BRPD have warrant searches. Lafayette may as well.

Where I lived growing up the cops would stop us all the time... if they found booze in the car they would just take it. Never got a ticket but those frickers got plenty of free alcohol.

this is just a wild guess, but call the court house and tell them his name?

He needs to join a political movement to get the drinking age back to 18.

Just an FYI when voting for our next governor. Jay Dardenne was a integral player in getting the drinking age pushed up to 21.
Richard Ieyoub was the face of the movement but Dardenne was his buddy in the effort. Going around speaking about it and preaching to anyone who would listen about why it was a good idea.
frick him then. Thank God it's 21 now. Far fewer passed out teenagers at Mardi Gras, St Pats, tailgates.

It dropped from 21 back to 18 years ago for a little while ( I think at that time LA was the only state that had the legal drinking age at 18)... but didn't the Feds threaten to stop highway funding if we didn't raise it back to 21?

Well at least the gf knows her place...doing his laundry and what-not.
Like I have always said, a woman's place is in the kitchen, unless she is in the laundry room washing your clothes...

Love how he blames his girlfriend for washing his pants

For a short time. Yes. The FEDs threatened to withhold $15 mil a year for Interstate repairs/maintenance.

My first thought was "what a fricking idiot."
My second thought was that I'd probably do some dumb shite like that at 19 years old too.

What happens if you never paid one, but you turned 21? Does it still count?

He should have a bench warrant if he is past the court date. I think he can check online to find out about it. Then call or go to courthouse to find out next steps. It will just add to the total cost of the ticket and if he does get stopped before then they (th 5.0)will take him to the clink till it is figured out

Pics? And don't tell me she doesn't have nudes. I learned from another OT thread today that all girls worth dating probably have nudes

If the court date has already passed, and it probably has, he is probably going to have a "Contempt of Court" or "Failure to Appear" charge to go along with his MIP.
Smooth.
I have seen jail time handed down for it. Not sure what the other charges were though.

Indeed, if you don’t show up for a scheduled court date, you may be charged with failure to appear in court. As a criminal offense, the penalties associated with this charge can be quite severe, including fines, license suspension, and even jail time
