Maybe if that man just murdered my family.

Writing a fake check? Not even close.

Like Ignerio said. I’ll wait for the evidence before I pass judgment.

I’d love to know what would show on the body cam footage to justify the response

That’s the thing. Nobody really needs to see it. Even if the man slapped the cop and spit in his face...from the moment we see the video, all of that is in the past and we have a living human who is fully restrained, yet being choked. It just doesn’t matter what happened before the video. Not one single bit. It was murder

Other than pointing a gun at the cops I can’t think of a reason to kill the guy

I already told you I didn’t think it was justified. Saying they both escalated the situation (see both Karen’s in Central Park) isn’t condoning the behavior.

But spin it all you want.

Nobody believes your outrage.

Me either. But I’m not so blind to think it was 100% one sided.

Capisce?

Can you also agree that resisting arrest and non-compliance escalates these situations?

I can agree with this. Can you agree that once a suspect is unconscious an officer should allow blood to flow to their brain?

Even in war, international Law dictates that if you have an enemy captured, an enemy who was shooting at you moments before, you are not allowed to kill him. It’s simple. Don’t kill the defenseless.

Meh. As I cop I'll defend these cops. As others have said. STOP frickING RESISTING. If you comply nothing will happen to your dumb arse. Not to mention that if I have put my hands on you, its highly likely you've done something to bring me to your location. Usually you acting like a complete jackass. I got better shite to do, like sitting under the shade tree playing on my phone or watching YouTube. And yeah if you can scream that you "cant breath" you are breathing you stupid frick. Act like a civilized human being and it wont require me to thump your stupid arse.

That Little Dick syndrome you have is gonna get you killed. The only thing I regret is that I probably won't be the one who blows your redneck arse away.

The less like you out there, the better. You are worse than the vast majority of actual criminals.

He's not saying that the cop isn't wrong, it's not that difficult to understand

I’m sure that would be a hard move to make but I’d like to think if I’m watching someone being murdered I’d do something

What would you do though - call the cops? They were pleading with him to let up, pleading with the other cops, saying the guy was going to kill him, calling them names, etc. Dude threatened them like he was going to mace them and they weren't even approaching him. I could easily see that guy shooting one or more of them if they had approached him. Tough spot there. I have a feeling if family members would have been there, it could have gotten ugly though.

he's saying both are to blame even though the guy who was handcuffed face down was inherently defenseless and therefore had no ability to participate in his own murder

so in that sense, it is difficult to understand, because it doesn't make any fricking sense at all.

I agree the guy shouldn’t have died. I agree that this cop made a terrible decision. I believe this is another fricked up tragedy.

I do not believe that the cop woke up this morning and said I’m gonna kill the first guy that resists my arrest.

The guy committed a crime. He didn’t deserve to die in the street. But if he didn’t commit a crime; we aren’t having this discussion. This is what you are unwilling to accept.

There is a 10 minute video that is all the evidence needed to be seen.
