Weird how it didn't became mainstream until these asinine minimum wage proposals went mainstream.
It's weird because you made it up.
Automating basic tasks and reducing headcount for those activities has been around since the dawn of time.
And fast food store automation has been a mainstream thing since the 70s. I've been hearing about someday going to a McDonald's without any human employees for the last 30 years.

but never fear, Govt pays well for children.
They will pay (not arguing this is right/wrong), but they don't pay well.
You've already stated that the government keeps giving raises to lazy people even though Louisiana hasn't raised wages in 15 years and that business won't be able to afford these extreme wages increase. A ruling that in Louisiana was shot down

You can better yourself with time and money. What if you have neither?
Then you have no motivation and support artificially high wages to make yourself feel better.
You really wanna die on the hill that fast food worker is the best possible job most of these workers could get if they tried at all?

They don't have any. They just like to bitch and moan.
Easier to pretend real-life problems don't exist than to actually understand 42,000,000 American citizens live in poverty and solutions are required.

We all know the end game. Have every state increase min wage to 15-20 an hour, that way the actual tax paying base doubles. More money for Ukraine!

in a world where iphones have existed for almost two decades you think self serve kiosks couldn't come about any sooner than they did?

Not a single one.
Not a single one.

So, in your eyes, the next 60 years of her life are fricked because she mistakenly trusted some dude. Duly noted. I'm glad you've never made a poor decision in your life.

Step 1.
Stay in school.
Step 2.
Don’t have kids until you are married.
Step 3.
Show up to work on time
It allllll comes back to personal responsibility and ones choices in life.

No, many single moms graduate from college.
Youre finding excuses for failure.

Take temporary help to get yourself right.
Welfare and Stamp cards are temporary supplements for temporary work issues and hardships. Not permeant solutions to laziness, lack of motivation to being better, and being a whore.
ETA: And they aren't there to supplement your part time job at fast food place A or B so your 6 kids can eat and have jordans.

Based on what?
The system is kinda designed for there to be a shitload of minimum wage workers, not everybody can be a tradesman or a doctor
So is it really just “frick those people, let them rot” in your mind?

Sounds like she should’ve used her time doing online classes, or finding a better job, to get away from people who make shitty choices.

No. I just thought it was weird you are placing 100% of the blame on the dude when both parties are equally responsible.
Plan b exist.
Greyhound exist to get to the next state.
Social media exists to get in touch with nonprofits and bleeding hearts such as yourself who would jump to pay for such a downtrodden woman’s abortion and travel.
Weird how when one stops expecting a handout one can start looking at realistic options.

$30/hour with free day care is a dream offering?
It's perfectly livable. Especially for a couple.
