It has replaced their party lines as a means to keep up with gossip and keep their noses right up in other people's shite.

No, I had one of those too.

I'm only 34. I'm gonna blame it on the weed.

Fwiw, I didn't get a cellphone until I was 16 and it wasn't actually mine--it was my dad's and he let me borrow it when I went out at night so I could call him if something happened.

I had internet when I got into high school. It was dial up.

I eta'd that early post but the only reason I had one was out of necessity.

It is not what all people have always done. There is no shame in doing that if you want. But it shouldn't be forced upon anyone else because older generations fail to see the corruption that is right in front of them.

You shouldn't have to work as a plumber to pay to learn another trade if you don't want to. Some folks aren't built for that shite. Pun intended.

From the outside looking in, my view would hardly be considered insane.

Then you should all quit whining. Or quit supporting the the whiners in threads such as this one. Sounds like you're knighting for the wrong group.

No more having to wait until after church or until you go to the salon/barber shop to get that fix.

If these people are struggling, maybe it's time to look at their lifestyle.

Used to be Jeds but they don't do LSU nights anymore. I was in midtown on Saturday actually. I live in the 12th south-ish area

Oh no they are not struggling. My point is that he's generalizing millennials. I know for a fact I know more millennials than him. Because I'm a millennial.

I still had to pay and astronomical amount of money for my education. So did they. Now it's called whining when you try to call out a system that is essentially all but proven to be corrupt?

Your generation had plenty of shite to bitch about too but I don't feel like going down that road with you.

Nice. Was at Jeds for Bama 2011 in Tuscaloosa and was promptly thrown out for spraying my beer like champagne in celebration

I live in Green Hills, but just bought a home in the Nations that won’t be done until October-ish. I am friends with the manager at South so I go there for Happy Hour if I’m not at Corner Pub (Green Hills).

I work at a fortune 20 company with a solid BA gig and I'm 28. And need more damn money. The COL is absurd in Nashville

Yea I'm trying to pay for a wedding and buy a house right now. I'm going to be in this apartment for another year or so. We will probably buy in the woodbine area and then try to rent it out. Rinse and repeat.

Well, I live in a city more expensive than Nashville and find a way to make it work.

We can always use more money, but if you have a solid gig and are struggling, the answer will usually be lifestyle.

COL in Alaska is that high?

And I could probably downgrade my lifestyle. But I pay my student loans (more than minimum before you ask), max my 401k, Roth etc so whatever I have left I'm going to enjoy it.
