I highly doubt that, since you have to be 18 to be hired.

No 18-year olds in high school in your world, Trev?

Not really. He just doesn't like people making assumptions about something that they have yet to experience.
Do you?

No HS kid ever had a job in the history of mankind. Idiot.

Plus I have this odd habit of treating people the way they treat me. That means if your nice to me, I'm nice to you. But if you're a dick to me, I'll be a dick to you. Funny how that works.

I've been young and I am old. I have the experience to say you're full of shite. How can you make an assumption about how the game is played if you haven't been on the field yet?
I don't know everything, but trust me I've been "on the field". Anyway who says we have to play the game the same way you played it?

You've been on the field, eh? Tell us about it.

You came into this thread acting like a dick in the first place. I quote:

The only thing you left out is how they're too stupid to realize how ignorant about generally everything they really are. Other than that, you're pretty much spot on. ...
Times have changed. What you used to know isn't necessarily true anymore. Think about that before you get on your high horse next time.

Yeah that's just it. The rules have changed and some of the older folks around don't get it. Its like the game has gone to a spread and they are still trying to defend the wishbone.

And even my kids are guilty of this - can't tell any of them anything - they already know it all - one just dumber than the next. They have to learn things the hard way - INSIST on it.
Three of the dumbest smart kids you ever met in your life.

Always amazed when this type of stupid shite gets pawned off on one generation. You think your generation was significantly more disciplined, respectful, and worldly as teenagers?

I came in here and made an observation based on my existence in life and seeing this new generation and how they approach the life they're just starting. If you were smart you'd stop to consider the hard words I posted and perhaps use them to benefit yourself. Instead, like most from your generation, you get your feelings hurt that some actually had the guts to criticize you. That's another problem you kids have. You've gone your whole life hearing how everything you do is great, there is no right and wrong, and you're all special. This has made you incapable of taking criticism and gaining anything from it other than to sulk up and get insulted. I feel bad for you kid. You've got a harsh wake up coming.

You love to use some arbitrary phrases and cliches. I'd be happy to know what "having a pot to piss on" and being "on the field" correlate to in the grand scheme of life.

We knew better than to think we knew shite about the world comparative to those who had already been living it since we were shitting our diapers.

The fact you don't know this tells me you're still just a pup not even weened from its momma's teet.

My kids are better than average, so, yeah, I can make a generalization while recognizing that there are millenials doing things better than I did.

Yes - and we weren't very good - but better than the hippies and millenials - and not by a little bit, either.
Posted on 11/8/14 at 10:19 am to Darth_Vader
The problem with that is you weren't able to step back when you were 18-30 years old and make that sort of honest assessment about your generation when they were that age. You can't make the same type of assessment about your generation since you weren't capable of doing it.
