I also put my PT belt around my front door so I am safe from a home invasion .
If we made uniforms out of those we'd be indestructible.

The technology is there. We could rule the world as demi-gods with nothing but a bayonet and a PT belt.

Armory guys screwed up and I ended up with six 30 rd mags, sold 3 of them to an old Gunny of mine.
S-4 guys didn't give a shite either, kept most of my stuff when checking out. Only thing I definitely had to turn in was my NBC MOPP gear.

I had a shitload of magazines when I got out. Were we supposed to turn those in?
I also had a pro-mask but it was stolen out of my garage.

They were switching the vests to those awkward ones, so I got one of the old ones, SAPI's and all. S-4 at check out didn't give a damn.
And yes, magazines were bountiful. I got rid of them after a buddy got his campus apartment raided and they found his.

My stuff burnt up in a house fire. The only thing I used was my p-51.

All uniform items and a few things like duffels. A lot of other stuff gets 'acquired' over the years.

Have to know a guy for that one. And if CID is reading this I have absolutely never known a guy.

God that shite was the worst. Even in the dead of winter in the middle of base exercises in North Carolina you were sweating your arse off. Thank God I never got deployed.

I did forget to turn back in some NBC gear back in the late 90's.
I'll never put that shite back on.
Anybody who wants it can have it.

I first heard it back in 82 or 83. Had to buy mine from a local surplus store (wasn't part of OCIE back in the day). That and my butt pack. Had all I needed (for the most part).
