I may or may not have a few .50 Cal AP tracer rounds, about a dozen or so 7.62 still clipped together, a 155mm's primer round, and even the shattered and flattened remains of a SABOT training projectile..... Maybe.

A guy here outside Ft Lewis got busted with an AT4 on his roof a few weeks ago. Said he got it as an ETS gift.

I have a spare barrel for a 249. Not sure where it came from but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to have it.

Fine with ATF, not so good with the army.

I was also an M-79 grenadier.

I could get down 280 much more efficiently if I had one on my truck.

I had a 203. I was unit armorer so I assigned it to myself.

Of course you did.

I still remember all the supply FOBbits having the cleanest fully modified rifles.

ETA: not inferring I think you were one of those

Anyone here remember the brown towels they use to issue us back in the 80's and early 90's? I don't know what they made them out of but they were completely worthless in trying to dry off after a shower. They kinda felt like they were coated in wax or something. Instead of absorbing water, they'd actually repel water.

If you wash them about 3000 times, they will absorb a little water a few times before they fall apart into threads.

Mom got out as a USAF captain--she matriculated through U.M. in Ann Arbor, though, so I apologize if I ever sniped at your OSU affiliation

Snipe away...I'm really a Florida fan who chose a very unfortunate username.

They were white in the AF. And we had to Sharpie in the first initial of our last name and the last 4 of our SSN on them.

The old school sleeping bags (mummy bag) is hands down the warmest sleeping bag in the history of sleeping bags. It could be -30 outside and I would be sweating inside that thing

I kept a couple of the old wool blankets and my pea coat and flight jacket. I gave the coat to a homeless guy and he thought he had won the lottery.

Armorer was just an additional duty. And this was OIF1. There were no clean weapons or FOBs for that matter.

My Woobie is the best thing on earth. I also put my PT belt around my front door so I am safe from a home invasion .
