Laundry bags, field jacket, gloves, helmet liner, long rain jacket with removable liner. I wish I had kept the sleeping bag and air mattress - I got some of my best sleep ever with them.

Camelbak and that's about it. Wish I had the goretex set.

Have like 6 pairs of boots in the garage that I thought I would use. Never did.

I have an old magazine that I use in a vice with my ar. It sucked and didn't feed anyway.

Same here. I spent too much time shining them to throw them away. I tossed my desert and ACU boots though.

Former Air Force here.

Still use my fleece whenever it gets cold in the office.

Use my ABU boots/trousers for hiking.

Just this past summer. Medical discharge.

Blessing in disguise. Wasn't happy with my career path, my duty station, or the hours I was working. Have a great job now in the place I've always wanted to live. Wifey will be separating and moving down here with me next month.

God is good.

I got out in '96, I donated/gave away most of it recently (stuff that didn't fit). Still have my boots, my hat with my squadron name stenciled on the front, a wool blanket, my Gerber tool, and my dufflebag. I was going through a pair of my BDU pants recently and found an old half-faded 341 in one of the cargo pockets.

This is one of the handful of items that isn't issue very much anymore. Why? Because they know soldiers will buy them anyway. I have 3.

Oh no way

If I had a dollar for every time I heard "gimme a 341"....

Yeah, I offloaded most of my stuff the same way. Wifey and I decided we'd each keep a set of our ABUs and our dress blues for posterity's sake and for show and tell if/when we ever have kids

Just realized I still have my duffel, too. Damn that thing came in handy on PCS'ing/TDY'ing

Thanks for your service You served the same time frame as my dad (he was USAF from '83-'05)

Mom got out as a USAF captain--she matriculated through U.M. in Ann Arbor, though, so I apologize if I ever sniped at your OSU affiliation

One of these - I may have slept so well because you would get dizzy as crap blowing the thing up. I have wished I still had it on many occasions.

It was the one in the video. It was not shiny.

Damn. I had the shitty foam pad. later on I had the self-inflating green one but it wasn't any better.
