I mean...there are retards all along the spectrum from the center to the outskirts on the right...and a few sprinkled in who are left on center and left. But to suggest it's not 95% right and hard right and everyone else at this point is silly.

And even if it was JUST that it would be bad enough...but dissenting opinions are simply shouted down. There really was a time on that board where you could have a civil discussion and even argument without it becoming unhinged within a page. That's almost entirely gone now and been replaced with thread after thread of someone on the right linking some story about some perceived outrage on the left and then a hundred people piling on and agreeing with it.

Politics in general have devolved into this and I don't know if there's anything we can do to turn things back.

I'm passive to begin with but approach everything with the serenity prayer in mind. Makes life much more enjoyable.

It has, no doubt.

My only point is that it doesn't HAVE to be that way, at least in small places. We can't fix everything, but if there was a desire to do so THIS PLACE could be run as to make conversations and discussions paramount. Doesn't mean it can't lean right. The board's base in LA with mostly the rest of the South thrown in. It'll obviously lean that way.

That doesn't mean there can't be reasonable discussions, though. We don't have that, because that kind of board is just not valued here. In the end, the market has spoken and most clearly want an echo chamber.

Which brings me back to my original response to you. I personally don't post there much at all anymore because I find having to argue with the likes of CAD in that kind of way to be a complete waste of my time, and basically not fun. If Chicken's goal here is to up all users' "time on site" me posting over there will not get that done for me at least.

Sticker looks shopped... If it's not supposed to be touched, why the frick would they put a sticker on it...?

Are there stickers on the other pieces of equipment...?
