I dress up during the week.

If I'm off, I aim for 19 year old college burnout in 2004.

Etnies shoes with short black socks or flojos, some sort of gray/black/khaki shorts, t shirt material hoodie. Usually wear a decent watch to hint I'm not homeless.

Are you kidding me???? My God, grow up and be a man. This! This is what’s happening to men in this country. Look at all the commercials making men out to be idiots, wimpy, kids smarter than the parents. Quit worrying about what your wearing, go fishing, cut down a tree, plow a garden, but for heavens sake grow a pair!

Man, fricking relax.

Brother just asking for style tips for frick sake.

When I read 90% of the posts on tOT that are men's fashion related I am reminded of the death of the cultured gentleman. The wear what you want and is "comfortable" idea is how we ended up with moo moos, pajamas, and house slippers in Walmart. OT will mock the hell out of those pictures and have amnesia when they look in the mirror.

TIL the OT not only dresses trashy, it is openly hostile to people seeking fashion advice

When/how did not giving a frick about your appearance become a virtue? Nothing wrong with not wanting to look like a slob.

A man should have confidence in himself and not be too concerned about what he is “supposed” to wear. A man knows the types of cloth on his body really isn’t that important. Should his clothes have holes and stains properly not, but she shouldn’t be seeking validation or approval either

A man doesn't need to be "fashion forward."

A man should have enough self respect to dress himself in a presentable manner without ill fitting or sloppy clothing.

The real answer is to wear what fits your personality and lifestyle. That could be boot cut jeans, square toes, and some PFG shirts, but then you'd dress like everyone else in Louisiana.

I'm speaking as a mid 40's man and in my 30's I started changing my wardrobe. Save some money and get yourself a few good suits and get them tailored. Then get some dress shirts from Indochino tailored. Then spend money on some good shoes and learn how to polish them.

For casual wear start cheap at H&M and Abercrombie...stores like that. Zara is good but can be a little avant garde for some. I actually look to social media for men my age and see what they are wearing to keep up with some fashion and to get some ideas.

Early 30's.

Going out- Rhoback, Vineyard Vines, or Southern Marsh polo with Jeans or shorts

Gym- vuori, lululemon, or gymshark attire

Regular day out-similar to gym attire but tops have sleeves

Shoes- New Balance, on clouds, or Brooks

frick button up shirts and dress shoes. Only needed for weddings and funerals

(wide legged jeans, ugly sneakers, baggy tshirts and sweaters) just don't appeal to me.

If you are mid 40s this is literally what you wore in highschool. You've lived long enough for the style to circle back to your childhood days. Just wear what makes you comfortable and look's sharp. Dumb post.

Vineyard Vines is a good, modern go to that performs well in the heat.

Ive traded in all my Polo brand polos for moisture wicking/performance type polos just from the heat. I wear those and the occasional button down with jeans or golf pants to work. Golf pants are underrated for everyday work wear because they are so light and breathable (check out the BCG golf pants from academy for $15). I collect cowboy boots so anytime I wear slacks/jeans I am wearing boots (dress or casual depending on the occasion). If I am wearing shorts its pretty much fishing shorts and long sleeve fishing shirts with some American made new balances or sandals. Winter time its quarter zip or my fur lined nubuck jacket. Its all basic stuff but im looking for that comfort and breathability for the summers.

Lay off my dude Winston.

He’s a good guy with solid political views who just happens to live behind the lines of our current cultural divide.

If you had to walk around Portland and didn’t want to be celibate you’d probably dress a little different than you would in Louisiana too.

It's so true. Thank you for the love and support, amigo

I've been permabanned from Reddit for Trump, America First, groyperism, and "racism", so I wouldn't know.

I can see left wing incels using the term as it was popular with doggospeak, but I think that was a while ago.

My nephews / nieces and their friends are cool, good looking Christian and LDS high school kids in Cali and Utah and Nevada using the term nowadays.
