Michigan woman pulls gun in Walmart while back to school shopping

However, police also said the woman was legally allowed to be carrying the firearm, which was registered in her name.
“She’s a valid CPL (Concealed Pistol License) holder,” Baetens said. “She pulled out her firearm and tells them to stop attacking her daughter while pointing the gun at them.”
Thankfully, the firearm was not discharged and the confrontation was broken up shortly thereafter. Nobody was injured in the brawl, and police did not place anyone under arrest at the time.

A gun is the last resort and should not be used to threaten someone. If you point a gun at someone you should have the intent to pull the trigger. This was not her intention. She was using it in a threatening manner to get what she wanted out of the situation. I'm not saying what she did is illegal however what she did should have been her last resort I have to kill someone and this certainly was not a "last resort" situation.

Killing is a last resort.
Pulling a gun is a great way to deter someone so you don't have to kill them.

did you see any blood? punches or kicks being thrown? no, daughter got caught up wrestling over the notebook and was losing the battle. their intent was not focused upon the daughter, but the notebook. this is pretty clear from the short video if you're not trying to see what you want to.
