She was with cops in a secure area but then they told her to go on her own? I know they gotta look for the guy but I never though about it. You think you're finally safe and then you're not again.

It was reported by police early on as a short black male and they have video cameras in those dorms so they definitely have a description even if those reports were false.

Still reporting only 5 victims. Hard to put that together with how long it went on

If they maintained a perimeter sure, but when will they be there and how many are even available?
FBI in Detroit is probably an hour away and that gets you what 50 guys?
I’m sure every SWAT unit in MI in enroute but that’s a long time to wait and a damn lot of ground to contain and sweep.

Seems like news reporting this would be helpful.
At 10:04pm (central) CNN still going with “ The suspect, described as a short male wearing a mask, remains at large, according to police.”

Exactly. It would be so difficult to hold everyone inside of a perimeter on a college campus. This guy could have easily slipped away.

Seems like the time of day and that the subject is hiding that this may have been something like a drug deal gone bad or upset employee or something like that, compared to someone just looking to shoot up students?
