quote:

Mark Radetic, a Missouri man who was attending the PGA Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, went viral over the weekend just for holding a can: In an image showing fans watching Tiger Woods on Friday, Radetic was pretty much the only person not holding their phone to take a video or snapshot of the famed golfer. Instead, Radetic had his hands firmly attached to something else.

It's advice plenty of us have received (or maybe should have received) over the years: Stop staring at your phone and live in the moment. For one beer-drinking golf fan, it landed him a deal with Michelob Ultra.
Michelob tracked the guy down and are offering goodies, a branding deal and free PGA appearances. All for standing there holding a can of crappy beer.

Good for him. Phone cameras are a scrouge.

True lol...but this guy took it upon himself to enjoy the moment. Respect.

Not to mention those gaudy arse cans would never be permitted at God's tournament, but agree, kudos to the man

About 10% of those videos will ever get re-watched. So dumb to not enjoy the moment, but instead slam your head into your phone.

We went to a concert and a few other cool things and it always make me wonder do people always go back and look at those past pics or videos. I’m always glad to have my phone in my pocket

It really isn’t difficult to both record something in your phone AND watch it in person unless you have Parkinson’s.

Pra tically speaking, I like the silver can better.
But aesthetically, I like the imaging and marketing of the blue one better.

I've long been a staunch supporter of putting down the phone and living in the moment. I'm not usually an ultra fan, but I'd buy the shite out of that edition.

This could turn into a full marketing program for Michelob where they start immortalizing fans with Mich Ultra actually caught watching events instead of on their phones.

That would make it worthwhile to buy their beer and collect the cans.

You don’t get to choose to go without a phone there.
