Michael's (Craft Store) Sucks

CSB perhaps...
Wife (no pics) asks me to order two cricut things from Michaels.com and to pick up on way home. Some kind of vinyl. I order online.
Hour later, get an e-mail saying that one of them is ready for pickup, but the other is cancelled due to lack of availability (despite the website saying it is in stock at this location).
Text wife, she says that won't work, so cancel it all.
Can't find anyway to cancel order online. Do chat message with Michael's customer support. Because order is ready for pickup (the one they had in stock) they can't cancel. So I'll be charged for it. If I don't pick it up in 5 days, the order will cancel automatically and I'll be refunded.
So...
1) Their inventory system sucks
2) I fail to understand how I can place an order online but not cancel an order online
Moral of the story: Baws, don't do favors for your wife and do her online shopping for her.

Go down to the store anyway. There's always hot women at Michael's.

This location is on the site of the former Magnolia housing projects.
Somehow I doubt your statement is true.

Apparently her friend has a cricut machine which she can make logos to iron onto a shirt. So my wife wanted the material for the machine. I think.

I'll ask her tonight to confirm.

Michael’s has definitely gone downhill. I rarely shop there. I used to buy art supplies, but rather pay the higher price at an art supply store and get better quality.

I believe you deserve a serious reply.
I believe that Retail is on its way out. The problem facing the suburbs are going to be these large empty strip malls.
However, Michael's is one of the retail chains that isn't doing too terribly, sales-wise, but their management sucks. I mean - hey may know the home decor business, but they don't know business.
They have $425 million in cash, but they are sitting on a crazy $2.7 BILLION in debt and just $1.1 billion in inventory. When you have that kind of debt service due, you can't improve the things like inventory systems or websites, because you have to hold your cash for debt payments. That's why their stock sucks despite their sales being good.
Hobby Lobby is throwing up stores like crazy and guess what - zero debt. If they make the move to become a real click and mortar store, they will bury Michaels.
