This city is going to take a heavyweight punch to the face. Sucks.

Out of fricking control. I’m sure my place will follow suit since everybody just follows the leader

I'm surprised Caesars didn't follow along. We all know the one place almost guaranteed to stay open is Trump.

What does this mean for casinos in LA/MS? Are these going down too?

That's pretty crazy. I can't think of another major city that relies so much on one thing. The hourly wage workers in and around LV have to be in full panic mode.

Mexicans are building it so that's not a big deal. Keep working, Muchachos.

A lot of union went over there due to lack of work elsewhere. My brother had a good gig at the mandalay and had to leave for that reason

In time probably so. I received an email from one MS Gulf Coast casino yesterday that said at some point they were going to have to close by state order or by choice. The email went on to explain what changes they were making in response to the crisis, by changing some players club rules and not penalizing players who couldn’t go.

Louisiana casinos were limiting guest numbers to 250. With the CDC now saying to limit crowds of 50 or more time will tell when LA pulls the trigger to close them all.

On Thursday we cancelled a gambling trip to the Atlantis scheduled for last weekend in March. In response we booked at Harrah’s Cherokee because it is driveable. As of last night the tribe said it would remain open. I have a feeling it will close by the middle of the week.

Better start reading on cancellation/rebooking policies.
