The people in Central America are basically fully indegenous. Mexicans are half white, especially northern Mexicans, which are the ones that populate south texas. They are usually 60-80% white.

You are just racist. It’s ok

Half my family is Guatemalan. . .but ok

Mexico is not part of Central America. Central America is a part of North America. This doesn’t mean America and Canada are part of Central America. Do you want me to make a vin-diagram or something?

What if I told you Spanish is a Romance language along with French and Italian. Latin is the language of late Rome as the established language among educated Romans was Greek.

The distinction is CA is a region of NA. Something to do with tectonic plates and whatnot.

It is a Huge mix.

In the Nebaj region they are straight Mayan, throughout they have some white arse motherfrickers, though.

I got to meet some of the Communistas in the mountains. Look Mexican af. . .to a man.

Have you been to Mexico before or met any actual Mexicans? Besides the ones that mow lawns?

Yes, I’ve been to Mexico twice and I have a friend who is a Mexican doctor (her dad is also a doctor). Americans still have much more in common culturally with Canada than Mexico. You don’t think language is a huge part of culture? What about food? Religion?

ETA: Maybe if your idea of the culture of the US is the Southwest, then I could see that you think that Northern Mexico is closely related to the US, but there's a much larger portion of the country that isn't culturally aligned with that region.

You are both right.

The Spanish language originated from Latin, the language of the Romans. Because of this, Spanish is classified as a Romance language.

Language is among the MOST important parts of culture.

A small part of the justification for the Ukrainian invasion was that the part they were "liberating" were Russian speaking peoples.

The term "romantic" comes from the Latin "in the style of Rome"

ETA: Hand to God, I just learned that 5 seconds ago. Seems silly to not make that connection, especially since I took Latin in college
