Seems like a lot of people who cry about the broken immigration system are fueling the fire to save a few bucks

Literally just got off the phone with a co worker who hired someone at Home Depot to install some new doors at our office.

there are some really talented Messcans around here, I've got enough of them with various skills that I use enough on a regular basis to start building spec houses

Not the “gotcha” you think it is.

Our immigration problem in this country is not the result of Bob the homeowner hiring a couple guys to demo a fence in his backyard for cash.

I suppose lemonade stands and garage sales are driving nationwide inflation too?

Local yokels can jerk you around with estimates, times available, etc.

Or you can chance hiring the one chicano who's looking for heads to peel off with a butcher knife.

if they were truly skilled why would they be outside of HD instead of working already?

All I needed was 3 to dig up some old shrubbery, mulch, set new plantings and throw about 30 rolls of pine straw. $300 for a day's work was well worth it.

I’ve never heard of an “ICE raid” in decades.

Mississippi ICE raids: Feds announce 4 managers charged in chicken plant investigations.

During the Aug. 7, 2019 raids, agents arrested 680 immigrant workers from seven chicken processing plants in Central Mississippi. It was the largest single-state immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history.

Deflect all you want. They’re here to make money and wire it back home. Thousands of Bob the homeowners are facilitating that every day, along with the countless businesses from small contractors to corporations. Instead of streamlining the work visa program to supply the needed labor, the feds just maintain the dysfunctional status quo

Do you realize that hiring these people is hurting Americans.

Do you mean the Americans that sit on their paint cans at damn near every intersection and underpass with their signage begging for handouts and trashing the medians while playing the homeless racket who will not lift a finger to work?

Yeah, I'll pay a Latino that'll work before I'll give a piece of trash vagrant at an intersection a dollar.

bullshite. People here don't want to work.

Take all the people leeching on welfare and do a 1 for 1 trade with these people that want to work and the country would be much better off.

Find a local subdivision under construction and ask the foreign workers if they are interested. Most all of them are immigrants and won't turn you down. You will know they at least have skills working for a local builder.

I purchased a house last year in a new neighborhood and hired a good worker from their crew a few times for various things.

The people here don't want to work. They don't have a hiring pool of Americans to hire from.

I hired someone once to help me lay tile in my house.

Paid them good pay and I stayed with them the whole time. Honduran and Nicaraguan.

Prior to that, I had 3 American floor layers agree to come give me estimates etc. 2 never showed and stopped answering. 1 showed and never sent an estimate.

Oftentimes, most jobs these Latinos are working are not jobs americans want. These two guys had families they were working to support and hated what their countries had become.

As a general rule "skilled" workers don't have to stand out side of Home Depot for hire. Skilled workers get hired by subcontracting companies because their skills are in demand. Talking to workers at new construction home sites gives better results from my personal experience. Plus you can check out their work first before you even talk to them. Hiring any of these workers opens up your home owners insurance to risk should they get hurt working on your property. The better subs have comp insurance. I would require it. Have their agent email you their current policy listing you on the policy. Don't accept a copy they hand you. It may be forged or not current. Going cheap sometimes cost you big time.

Americans are lazy cucks. I’m about hard work not honoring pieces of shite only because we were born in the same geographic region.
