The day LSU would allow 100K plus on campus for that show...

Garth did something like 102k and it is, I believe, one of the top 5 largest stadium concerts ever. That kind of thing is great PR.

Someone like Luke Combs or Post Malone is going to sell out whatever venue they go to so why would they pick Baton Rouge over another one if the competitor is going to give them incentive to be there?

Cost of doing business

Just remember the movie tax credit debate. The bottom-line is that Louisiana is not desireable and is required to sweeten the pot. LIke you said, it is just how it is because they can go elsewhere just like the movie business

This isn’t anything close to the movie credits

Anyone has any idea who these 'Two Music Acts' are? Asking for a friend!

I heard it was Bad Bunny and Barry Manilow

Luke Combs is already playing a few college football stadiums next year. Seems to be a match

And he has open weekends in March and 1 open in May.

Also George Strait and Cody Johnson have announced a show at Clemson, so maybe George does a last hoorah stadium tour

yeah, whether you like Taylor Swift or not, those three concerts in New Orleans were insane for the economy
Wait, weren't we just told that those concerts and the Superbowl were not popular enough therefore New Orleans couldn't pay its employees?

New Orleans is facing a significant budget shortfall, which has raised concerns about its ability to pay city workers. Factors contributing to this issue include overspending on overtime and overly optimistic revenue projections, which were not met by events like concerts and the Super Bowl

Did we give them concessions so they would bring their business here?
